Part 4 - Ellen confronts Orlok. WARNING MOVIE SPOILERS!     < back

He escapes and eludes the towns people for a while but eventually he is recaptured. Meanwhile, Ellen awakens with a start and realizes that she must confront her new neighbor.

 

  Ellen looks across at Orlok in the wondow. She knows that she alone can stop the vampire.

 

 

 
  Ellen gives in to Orlok's craving until dawn is signaled by the crow of the cock. Orlok realizes that he has stayed too long.

 

 

 
Orlok feels the pain of the first morning light and disintegrates in a cloud of smoke. Hutter returns with the doctor but he is too late. The Great Death Ended
